My Next Home Theater
The New York Times has a pretty interesting article about using new technology to create more 3d sound. The new system can basically simulate a sound coming from any point in the room, making for a truely immersive experience. The demonstration room discussed in the article uses 304 individual speakers and 2 subwoofers in each wall; 8 P4 PC’s are used to process the signal.
Pretty amazing if you ask me. I’ll be taking donations until I have the funds necessary to purchase this system for my apartment…

Hell yah! I love the surround sound…this is a definite…just as soon as I become Bill Gate’s personal pilot. Kev, ill snag us the keys to the place and crash the joint and have this thing installed if he doesnt have it already!
